An Art Exhibition With a Difference 

What's it all about ?

A series of portraits of men (media personalities as well as everyday heroes) painted and sold with 100% of the money made given to headspace an amazing youth charity organisation that works with youths and young adults to support them through mental and emotional hardship.

Who is being painted and why ?

​

A series of both media and political figures with extraordinary stories of positivity to share , as well as every day hero's in our local community such as farmers, teachers ,artists, environmentalists, doctors and a whole host of inspiring men I met along the way who shared their stories of positivity with me  ( some of the most amazing of which were the dads, brother,sons and partners

 

The Event itself will be held on Friday evening October the 11th 6pm-9pm at Meadowbrook headspace and will include the live auction of some artworks as well meeting artist and other people involved. it will be an alcohol free event however loads of other entertainment and refreshments and nibbles will be provided, so come along and enjoy the event. The goal ?

​

An artistic celebration of the beautiful men all around us and among us, a reminder of the positive role models for future generations and a reminder of the good in man and humankind.

All portraits will be sold at an open exhibition auction night(date to be confirmed for the end of 2019) with ALL money raised to be donated to headspace Capalaba (follow the link to find out more about headspace below) the official partner of this project , with no money going to the artist or to any of the participants.

How can you get involved ?

Like the page, tell your friends and family about the project , keep up to date as new portraits are uploaded, volunteer to be painted, and stay tuned for details of the exhibition event so you can come along and share in the fun. This will be a whole family event with guest speakers as well as non-alcoholic drinks and nibbles for guests .
